What sorts of results can you expect?
- You’ll notice that their team is performing better. The way the leader works with their team will be producing much better results. And team members will be very satisfied with the change. There’ll be a knowing that each challenge that presents itself is being handled in the best possible way. And stress levels, both the team leader’s and the teams, will have diminished as a result.
- The leader is more influential with people. Their approach to influencing others will shift. They’ll assertively, and often somewhat effortlessly, persuade others. And they won’t get them off side like they used to. With a modified strategy, the leader will be much more able to confidently influence others to see their point of view, or take the action they want them to take.
- They’ll have many useful tools in their tool kit to manage difficult circumstances. No matter what the situation, the leader will know that they can choose an approach that will give them the best chance of producing the best outcome. Their tool kit will have its shelves nicely stocked with pieces of equipment to help them handle pretty much any sort of performance problem.
- Their emotional intelligence will grow, probably in leaps and bounds. People will notice that the leader is no longer reactive. They’ll take the action that will give them the best opportunity of bringing about their short, medium and longer term targeted outcomes. They’ll confront difficulties skilfully and professionally. Consequently others will respect them, and their professionalism, a lot more.
- Their leadership talents will be put to good use. The gap between the leader’s performance and their potential performance will close. And the results will speak for themselves. Many creases will have been ironed out and they’ll be electing to use strategies that will bring about their targeted outcomes.
- The leader will develop a reputation for being a very capable performer. They’ll know where their performance could be polished even more, and they’ll actively keep polishing. Because they’ll refine their leadership behaviours, everyone will be confident that they’re on track to produce exceptional results.
The uniqueness of my approach
- I have a deep understanding of the world of leaders. For more than 25 years I’ve been observing and learning about how people in organisations think, feel and behave—and have a very real sense of what they need to do differently to achieve their targeted outcomes.
- I have an impressive track record of results. In two decades of corporate human resource development work, leaders and teams I’ve worked with have made shifts that they’ve been thrilled with; shifts that have had their organisations coming back for more.
What is it like to work with me?
- I’m results-oriented. It’s my natural style to focus on results—that is the desired results of the person I’m working with. When I notice that they’re doing something that isn’t supporting them in getting those results, we’ll talk about it. And then they can decide, with a real consciousness around their decision, what result they want and what they’re prepared to do to get it.
- I want people to create remarkable relationships with others. I think that good relationships are critical to a person’s success, and also to their on-going happiness and fulfilment as a human being. We’ll work on having all of their relationships be the best that they can be.
- I’m authentic—I’ll be honest and frank in our discussions. I’ll tell the truth, as I see it from where I sit. I think that it’s one of the most important parts of my job. And because the person I’m working with knows that I’m “on their side”, I want what’s best for them, they’ll hear the truth as supportive, helpful and encouraging.
